The space shuttle Endeavour has successfully lifted off from Cape Canaveral reaching a maximum speed of just over 3,000 mph. The shuttle seperated from its' solid rocket boosters and fuel tank without any indication of foam debris breaking away. It's believed broken piece of foam led to the loss of the Shuttle Columbia in February 2003. Endeavour's mission to the International Space Station will bring much needed supplies including a new exercise station, additional sleeping quarters, and a brand new space toilet. The mission is expected to last for 15 days before the crew of seven returns to Earth. For more on the shuttle mission and Nasa in general, click here.
