Airport Reporters/Spotters (Full and Part-Time, Various Cities)
AeroChannel.com, a leading Web-based airport information service, is currently hiring part-time and full-time individuals to fill positions across our national service area.
Airport Reporters clearly and accurately report airport conditions, travel delays, line wait times, and other pertinent information to the AeroChannel Operations Center Staff. Airport Reporters will work with producers to write and deliver airport status reports, which will be distributed on the Internet and to media partners.
Ideal candidates will thrive in a dynamic team environment, possess excellent communication skills, are computer literate, capable of multi-tasking, and accustomed to meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, often exciting, environment. Familiarity with airports, airplanes, airlines, road conditions, weather, and the ability to work independently are desirable skills. These are part-time and full-time positions with the opportunity for advancement.
Must have a valid drivers license, auto insurance, clean driving record, and pass a potential background check.
Flexible shifts from 4:00am to Midnight

Airport Traffic Editor, Full-Time & Part Time
Location: AeroChannel Operations Center, Los Angeles, CA
The Airport Traffic Editor (ATE) is responsible for gathering, writing and distributing airport status information to media partners and consumers via Internet, e-mail, and audio/video distribution. The ATE will consolidate information from various sources including AeroChannel Airport Reporters/Spotters and Producers, Tipster reports, and government and corporate reports. The ATE will monitor government resources, video and audio feeds, handle incoming calls, and verify all information. The ATE must be computer literate, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, have a personable phone manner, possess the ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, including nights and weekends. The ideal candidate will also possess a demonstrable knowledge of airport, airline and travel industry operations.
